Tear Aid® Fabric Compatibility Test Kit
Not sure whether Tear Aid® Type A or Type B is suitable for your fabric? This simple test kit allows you to try both products on a small, inconspicuous area before committing to a larger repair.
Kit Contents
- 1 × 22 mm × 22 mm Tear Aid® Type A test patch
- 1 × 22 mm × 22 mm Tear Aid® Type B test patch
- 1 × Alcohol cleaning wipe
- 1 × Set of instructions
How to Use
- Use the supplied alcohol wipe to clean a small, inconspicuous area of the fabric you wish to test.
- Apply the Type A and Type B patches to the prepared area, making sure you can identify which patch is which. Important: the backing strips identify the products, so take care during application.
- Alternatively, apply just one patch at a time, leaving the other unused so there is no confusion.
- Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to reach full bond strength.
- Carefully attempt to remove the patch. The patch that is virtually impossible to remove is the one best suited to your fabric.
Packaging
This is a test kit rather than a retail-packaged product. The components are placed in a DL envelope and posted to you promptly.
